1. Platform posture
VeyoHost hosting runs on autoscaling cloud infrastructure with account isolation practices, free SSL certificate issuance, global CDN/edge caching capabilities, malware scanning tools, and timeline backups included on public plans.
We focus on making the secure path the default: encrypted transport for sites with SSL, least-friction recovery options, and portal access that can open the hosting control panel through secure single sign-on flows.
2. Backups and recovery
Public plans include timeline backups designed to support restore points. Customers should still keep an independent export for critical business data and test restores periodically. See our blog guidance and Refund & Cancellation Policy notes about exporting before cancellation.
3. Access control
- Customer portal authentication for account, billing, and support
- Hosting control-panel access through secured portal flows
- Support access to customer environments is limited to what is needed to resolve tickets, migrations, or security incidents
- Customers should enable strong passwords and available MFA, and manage team roles carefully
4. Application security shared responsibility
VeyoHost secures the platform. Customers secure what they install and publish: WordPress core/plugins/themes, custom code, CMS users, forms, and API keys. Compromised applications may be suspended under the Acceptable Use Policy to stop abuse while remediation proceeds.
5. Monitoring and abuse response
We use platform tooling to detect malware patterns, abusive traffic, and spam-related risk signals. We may notify customers, require remediation, or apply temporary restrictions to protect the network and other users.
6. Vulnerability reporting
If you believe you have found a security issue in a VeyoHost-operated property (marketing site, portal, or platform integration under our control), email support@veyohost.com with:
- A clear description and impact assessment
- Steps to reproduce
- Any proof-of-concept limited to your own test material
Please do not access other customers’ data, disrupt service, or publicly disclose before we have a reasonable chance to investigate. We will acknowledge reports and prioritize based on severity.
7. Customer checklist
- Keep CMS software updated
- Prefer least-privilege users and MFA
- Review installed plugins/themes regularly
- Store secrets outside public web roots
- Verify staging before major launches
- Export critical data on a schedule you control
