1. Purpose
The AUP protects the integrity, performance, and reputation of the VeyoHost platform and other customers. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, termination, or reporting to authorities.
2. Prohibited content and activities
You may not use the services to store, publish, transmit, or promote:
- Illegal content or activity under applicable law
- Child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors
- Malware, ransomware, trojans, phishing kits, or exploit tooling intended for harm
- Fraudulent schemes, scam pages, or credential harvesting
- Unauthorized access attempts, scanning, or attacks against third-party systems
- Spam or bulk unsolicited email; operation of open relays or spam-support infrastructure
- Content that infringes intellectual property or other rights of third parties after valid notice
- Violent threats, doxxing, or content intended primarily to harass or harm
- Services that intentionally circumvent sanctions or export controls
3. Resource abuse
Even where plans advertise generous or unlimited storage/traffic allowances, you may not:
- Use hosting as general-purpose file dump, mirror, or backup vault for unrelated bulk data
- Run cryptocurrency mining or similar high-intensity compute workloads without prior written approval
- Consume resources in a way that degrades the shared or managed platform for others
- Bypass fair-use, security, or rate-limiting controls
We may request remediation or require a different architecture for unusually demanding workloads.
4. Email and messaging
Outbound email must comply with anti-spam laws and best practices. You must maintain valid contact identity, honor unsubscribe requests for marketing mail, and secure forms and SMTP credentials. Repeated spam complaints may lead to mail restrictions or suspension.
5. Security obligations
You must keep CMS software, plugins, themes, and custom code reasonably updated; use strong unique passwords and available MFA; and respond promptly to compromise notices. If an account is compromised and used for abuse, we may suspend it to stop harm while you remediate.
6. Reporting abuse
To report abuse of VeyoHost infrastructure, email support@veyohost.com with URLs, timestamps, headers, and any evidence available. Copyright notices should follow our DMCA Policy.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and act based on severity and evidence, including warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, permanent termination, and cooperation with law enforcement. We are not obligated to monitor all customer content proactively.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP by posting a revised version with a new date. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
